Info? What is a "sandboxed" process?

Unread postby LindaAthena » Tue May 08, 2012 11:55 pm

I know what sandboxed means in the sense that it is 'isolated' from other processes... but how does this work on win7?

I.e. it'sn it accessing the same file system? Same internet?...or
exactly what do you mean when processhacker talks bout creating a sandboxed process?

Does it mean it is protected from other processes? or Other processes are protected from it?...

Thanks!

You must be referring to the Sandboxie support plugin.
